TRANSIT TIMES

The following transit times (above) provided by UPS are estimates on the number of business days you can expect it to take to ship to your location using “Ground” shipping. We can arrange a faster method for an additional fee.

You will receive a tracking number via email once your order is processed and packaged for shipment. Providing this helps to assure the package is successfully delivered and not sent back to us after 3 failed delivery attempts.

71 Painted Wines will not be responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments. If a purchase is returned for an incorrect address or three failed delivery attempts, you will be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping. If after one or two failed delivery attempts you feel as though you won’t be able to receive the package we can help re-direct the package to a local UPS Access Point where they will hold it for you.

Legal Shipping States

We CURRENTLY CAN* ship to the following states: AK, CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, MN, MO, MT, OK, OR, TX

*We are in the process of bemcoming compliant in additional states. If you don’t see yours listed above and were hoping to ship wine, please send us a note here!

We CANNOT ship wine purchased online or by phone to the following states due to state laws:

AL, DE, HI, MS, RI, UT

21+ Signature Required

You must be 21 years of age to order and/or receive wine from 71 Painted Wines. All shipments containing alcohol are sent with an “Adult Signature Required” stamp, and the delivery person may ask for identification upon delivery. We do recommend shipping to a business address, if an adult will not be present to receive and sign for the package.

Extreme Weather Shipment Delays

We always attempt to ship wines at the beginning of each week (Monday-Wednesday) in order to get shipments to you before the weekend. This helps prevent the wine becoming damaged due to unfavorable temperature conditions at our shipping carriers’ warehouses. We will always strive to ship packages within 1 business day from receipt of an order. In extreme heat or cold weather situations we may have to hold packages until the beginning of next week or until conditions have improved. In these cases we will always reach out to you with the email or phone you provide at checkout to update you of status.
